This book from 1783 includes an engraving from the master of engraving, the poet and artist, William Blake. The book is the classic Orlando Furioso. This is the first edition of this English version (there were two subsequent editions that had Blake's engraving. This is the original. Feel free to contact me with any questions. New York Aquarium opened in 1896 in what is now Battery Park. It closed in 1941. It moved to Coney Island in 1957. This compact is circa 1920's. It has a great Art Deco chrome and blue with gold lettering and image of the Aquarium. Springs open the mirror to reveal powerder puffs. Another door opens for powder, which is empty. Some spotting on mirror, loss of gold lettering.

This is the coolest vintage purse I've ever seen! This is hand carved with great attention to detail. Never have to worry about the handle coming off! Made of wood and leather. Designer tag inside hand signed. Not sure of name - Bakke or Jakke. A little worn on top as shown, otherwise good cond. 9 inches high, 9 inches long. Circa 1960s - 1970s, back to the earth movement. Where'd all those old hippies go?

Rare to see sponged gold spongeware over brown transferware. Marked Doulton Burslem, bowl has impressed unreadable mark too. Bowl 15.5 diam, 4.5 inches high. Some rough edge spots and crazing. Soap dish very good cond. over 5 inches diam, 2 inch high. Mug good cond 3.25 inch high, 3 diam.
