TIMELILIES - Collage Unique Altered Art Soldered Glass Charm Pendant I created a collage with paper, paint and a pocketwatch face. After I scanned a picture of it, I altered the textures with a digital program. The result reminds me of Monet's Waterlilies, so I titled this TimeLilies. It is one of a series of time themed works I am currently creating. The print is on archival papers and the pendant is signed, titled and dated on the back. I solder these between glass and use a non-lead solder and non-toxic flux. The bale is sterling silver. Comes with an 18 inch silver ball chain, but longer sizes are available. The pendant is 1.5 inches square. |

We'll Always Have Paris - French Coin Brooch Recently I purchased several aluminum 1947 French coins. They begged me to combine them with violet and blue cathederal beads. I created a pin from sterling silver wire, hand hammered and filed. I think it's a lovely combination for a spring jacket lapel. These measure about 2 inches across and hang down 2 inches. These hammered brass earrings with oxidized sterling silver wires are created with authentic antique papers and weathering techniques. Each pair is unique to itself, showing snippets of an antique text. The brass window slides open to reveal just a bit more. You receive the clues as if an overheard conversation, a story unfolds, and you become a part of it. The origins of language are closely tied to the origins of adorning ourselves with jewelry.
