How To Shop At Amethyst Lobster

Please browse the product listings in the Collections listed in the menu at the bottom of the page.

Using the Shopping Cart

Press Add to Cart for items you are interested in. Press Continue Shopping to return to where you were. At any time, press View Cart to see it's contents. To remove an item, change the quantity to 0. Most items are one of a kind. Please only order 1 unless it's mentioned in the description that there are more.

Note that the Status (Available, Sold, Hold) is NOT automatically updated. It can take more than 24 hours to reflect your order. Purchase only once and you will receive an email confirmation quickly.

Payment Methods

Payment by Credit Card online
I accept payments from VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. You can use the shopping cart to immediately order and pay online. You now have a choice of Google Check-Out or PayPal Payments to process your credit card order. Those with a PayPal account can also use PayPal funds. Both systems have a state of the art secure servers on their website. I never see your credit card informaton. Your order will show on your credit card statement as LobsterLu.

Option A - Use PayPal Payments

If you wish to use Paypal Payments to process your order, first add items to the cart. When you are done, choose View Cart. Ensure that the items are correct. Scroll down to Go To Payments and click. You will see the cart contents again and a form for your billing address. We are not yet at PayPal's server. Filling this form out will help me track orders in case of any problems getting to Paypal. There is a minimum of required fields and they are in bold. I do not ask you for your credit card information. Press the Continue button. You are now on PayPal's server.

Option B - Use Google Checkout

If you wish to use Google Checkout to process your order with any major credit or debit card, first add your items to the cart. When you are done, choose View Cart. Ensure that the items are correct. Scroll down to the Google Checkout button. Click that and you are on Google's secure server.

Payment by Phone


I accept phone orders with Visa, MC, American Express and Discover. Email me if you would like me to call you, or call me at 732.500-4681. Please call between 10am-5pm EST.

Payment by Check


I accept checks from US banks ONLY. If you would like to pay with a check, do not use the shopping cart. Email me at jewelry@lobsterlu.com or call me at (732)500-4681 to place the order. Once I confirm the item is available and give you the total including shipping cost, you can mail the check to Mary Lu Wason, PO Box 237, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716. The item will be held for 14 days, awaiting the check. Note that you can also pay from your checking account using PayPal on-line. See notes above under Payment by Credit Card online.

Payment by Money Order


I accept money orders from US banks ONLY or those that say International on them. If you would like to pay with a money order, do not use the shopping cart. Email me at jewelry@lobsterlu.com or call me at (732)500-4681 to place the order. Once I confirm the item is available and give you the total including shipping cost, you can mail the money order to Mary Lu Wason, PO Box 237, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716. The item will be held for 14 days, awaiting the money order.

Shipping Costs

Shipping cost is calculated at checkout. The cost is based on the total dollar amount of the order. It assumes that the destination is US ONLY. International customers may have additional shipping costs. I retain the right to refuse international orders. These shipping costs are for online shopping cart items only. Shipping costs are calculated as follows.

Total $0.01 - 9.99 Shipping $ 1.50
Total $10.00 - 49.99 Shipping $ 2.00
Total $50.00 - 99.99 Shipping $ 4.00
Total $100.00 - 199.99 Shipping $ 6.00
Total $200.00 and over Shipping $ 10.00

Shipping Time

Orders are sent within three working days and most are sent within 24 hours.

Tracking Your Order

You will receive a confirmation email from me within 2 business days. Most orders are confirmed within a few hours. Note that business days are Tues-Fri 10am-4pm EST.

I will always send a confirmation email to let you know I received the order and payment and the status of the shipping. If you have not received any email within 4 days of sending your order, please contact me. Please be aware that some hosts (such as AOL) may not deliver my email to you, based on optional settings in your email setup. If in doubt, please call!

Is there something that you saw at a show and just can't get it out of your head? Please call or email me. I'm happy to let you know if it's still available.

Return Policy

I am happy to offer a return policy for on-line orders. If you are not happy, once you receive the item, let me know within three days. Once the item is returned, I will refund less the cost of shipping, plus a $10.00 restocking fee. Returns for items purchased at shows and in my shop are not allowed.
