A visit to the Met inspired me to create this necklace. The ancient Egyptians valued colors more than rarity when creating their jewelry. Here are four different sizes of deep red Carnelian, turquoise colored amazonite polished nuggets and yellow dyed serpentine beads. A huge polished Carnelian nugget pendant is set on a sterling silver bale. Secure sliding sterling clasp. Inner strand is 17 inches. Pendant drop is 1.5 inches.
