Who is Lobster Lu ?

Lobster Lu's Postcards, Art & Antiques is what I call my antiques and collectibles business. My name is Mary Lu. I live in Monmouth County, New Jersey, in a seaside town called Atlantic Highlands. Across the Bay, on a clear day, I can see the skyline of New York City. I sold in the antique markets and then in my own shop in the Chelsea area of Manhattan for several years. Since closing that shop, I now sell postcards and antiques online only.

Appreciation for the quality and beauty of antiques led me to the world of jewelry creation. I now spend most of my time creating new jewelry, often incorporating bits of vintage or antiques treasures. I sell my original jewelry at local shows and also online at Amethyst Lobster - Unqiue Jewerly.

I rarely buy postcards anymore. I have thousands of them, waiting to be sorted, scanned and offered online. Of course, I won't refuse a donation of old cards, since selling the ones I have help me to add to the college fund for my children. I do believe that what goes around, comes around. I try hard to treat my customers the way I wish other sellers would treat me when I'm the buyer. In return for the service, I've met some of the most wonderful, interesting people in my life. I wish you all well!
